 The Baker County Wildcats open the season today at home against West Nassau.
The Wildcats finished last season at 5-5, a huge improvement over the previous year at 0-10.
Head Coach Bobby John's returns for his second year, and has high hopes for his team.
In addition, the Wildcats will get additional coverage for the games. Macclenny.com has been in talks with the head coach about the teams web-site, and he likes what he sees in BakerCountyWildcats.com.
The color scheme matches the team colors and captures the schools spirit.
The Macclenny.com Creative Department got together over a year ago to discuss building a web-site for the team.
"We are putting on the finishing touches to the web-site, and it should be ready to launch sometime this weekend." Reports Nathan Johnson, Lead Designer on the project. "We are excited and happy that the wildcats as an organization as well as fans have really given us their blessing on this site".
